RETOM Uganda Brieft Profile

RETOM                                                UGANDA
Let Evangelism Reach Everybody Everywhere

Revival Time Outreach Ministries Profile in Brief

BACKGROUND:
Revival Time Outreach Ministries is a Ugandan organization that arose in 2003 in response to the most horrific war in African history. We aren't a ministry that seeks to do good things and make a difference. We seek God and later on other things are added.
As we work in Gulu, Uganda, we strive to see revival in all areas of life – spiritual, physical, social, emotional, economic, academic, and moral. Our goal is to continue to reach out throughout northern Uganda and in the neighboring countries of southern Sudan and D.R. Congo where the LRA are again very active and causing unimaginable devastation.
 Our Vision:
"Equipping and Training Christian leaders & Working together in bringing a sustainable transformation to Northern Uganda"
Our Mission Statements:
To see the church united and commissioned to bring sustainable and transformational revival to all areas of life – spiritual, physical, social, emotional, economic, academic, and moral. Revival isn’t finished if it’s not complete.
When God told Revival Time Outreach to “Turn the light on” to cause the darkness to flee, we believe he called us into the shallowest and deepest corners of life. That is why we feel free to minister to the many types of needs around us in church, government, community, medical, education, business and trade, and the family

MISSION APPROACH
We believe a healthy body reaches out to the community to meet not only the spiritual but also physical needs of the population.

Our Main Objectives:
(a) To preach the good news of Salvation to everybody everywhere
(b) To plan churches and prayer alters across this Nations.
(c) Organizing Christian conferences, seminars, conventions and spiritual retreats.
(d) To carry out Inter-School Save Student Conferences and Evangelism.
(e)To reach Barracks, Prison, Hospital, Orphanage and Rehabilitation centers with the restoring and healing word of   God
(f) To partner with the governments, public and private sectors, donors and UN agencies in order to meet the varied needs of the young people and to maximize the limited resources available to alleviate poverty and injustices.

RETOM Core Values
1.      To pursue the Great Commission, “to go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you,” in a way that affirms both justice and evangelism as essential to Christian witness.
2.      To honor the Sovereignty of God in all area of our lives and our life together.
